In ’n vorige uitgawe het ons gesien wat die gevolg "van veld-vertrapping is. (Droogte en die natuurlike Bodem-bedekking, Koers, Aug. 1933). Ons wil op ’n ander faktor wys wat ook ’n groot rol speel en in die toekoms nog ’n groter rol sal speel, en wel, die vrugbaarheid van ons gronde.
