Abstract

Onder die blomplanlfamilie Scroplmlariaceae ressorleer daar ’11 liele aantal parasitiese soorte wat in Afrika inheems is. Onder hulle is Striga lutea Lour, (die Rooiblom) van besonder groot ekonomiese betekenis in Suid-Afrika.
